'Exquisite corpse' is not strictly a Fantasy. It is a tale of two serial killers - Andrew Compton in England and Jay Byrne in New Orleans (the book was published in 1996, New Orleans still existed). Andrew has been caught by police after his 17 murdered young boy, but Jay is still at large in New Orelans, carefully killing only strays and runaways and then eating their bodies.

But when Jay meets Tran, a young Vietnamese boy, something changes. Tran, not knowing what Jay is, wants to stay with Jay, wants to love him. This is a concept very strange for Jay, and all he knows is that he doesn't want to hurt Tran. Things get even more complicated as Tran's former lover, the now AIDS sick and boardering on insane writer Luke starts to track Tran down to rescue him from the creepy Jay.

In the mean time, Andrew escapes and makes his way to New Orleans - by chance. These two predators of the night is drawn towards each other and chare a killing frenzy in wich they finally find someone to hone their skills with, and to teach them new things. Andrew lerns canibalism, Jay lerns that he doesn't have to be alone.

But what happends when Andrew wants to eat Tran?
